The Chief Directorate - Property Management is responsible for providing information on WCHDB properties. For example:- who owns the property
- can it be sold
- what is the erf number
- what is the property values.
The Chief Directorate also deals with enquiries relating to selling, letting and maintenance of WCHDB properties. It also handles the administration of loans and debt collection.
SELLING WCHDB PROPERTIES The Chief Directorate is actively disposing of Western Cape Housing Development Board properties by: - calling for tenders via advertisements in the local newspapers
- making certain rental units available to tenants for purchasing
- entering into land availability agreements for the development of large tracts of land
- transferring certain property to the Municipality within whose jurisdiction that property lies.
