The legislation provides for the tolling of provincial public roads in the Western Cape and for the planning, design, declaration, construction, operation, management, control, maintenance and rehabilitation of provincial toll roads.  >

This law establishes a development planning system for the Western Cape and develops frameworks and standards for development planning at municipal and provincial level, including environmental protection and land development management. It also deals with the restitution of land rights and tenure.  >
