DESCRIPTION:

The South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SANCA) is a non-profit organisation, funded by the state, that provides outpatient treatment in seven communities. It caters for people with problems with alcohol and both legal and illegal drugs.

SANCA has offices throughout the Western Cape. Go to the SANCA website (external link) to find the treatment clinic closest to you.

Programme duration
Assessment: 3 sessions
Outpatient counselling and aftercare: 6 weeks
