Regulating City of Cape Town Abattoirs
The municipality is responsible for controlling and regulating abattoirs. The Maitland Abattoir falls under the jurisdiction on the City of Cape Town. The Maitland Abattoir is one of only two abattoirs in South Africa that provide Kosher and Halaal meat.  >
