This brochure was prepared in accordance with Section 14 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act No 2 of 2000. It provides step-by-step instructions for basic Do-it-Yourself (DIY) tips on maintenance in the home, e.g. how to replace a tap washer, an electric plug and light bulb. This DIY Home Maintenance Guide Part 1 forms part of a series of similar information booklets, which will be released in due course.
