DEALING WITH ENQUIRIES

1. Personal Enquiries

The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has opened a Client Service Centre at Grand Central Building, Parliament Street on the 2nd Floor to assist the public in respect of the November 2006 examination results, admission to the Supplementary Examination and the Remarking of scripts.

2. Telephonic Enquiries

Telephone number (021) 467-2300 has been made available for the answering of telephonic enquiries in respect of examination results. This number is connected to a Voice Mail system and offers eight additional lines. The lines will be open from 08:00 to 16:00 everyday from
29 December 2006 until 2 February 2007.

The public must please note that this number will only deal with enquiries in respect of the November 2006 examination results.

3. Important Closing Dates

(i) Remarking of scripts:
30 days after the release of results (late applications will not be attended to) Cost: R70-00 per subject

(ii) Enrolment for Supplementary Examination:
19 January 2007 (late entries will not be attended to)
