The entry phase of the Challenge closed on 31 May 2014 and we received 130 entries. The first stage of judging occurred in June with a Selection Panel made up of 47 industry experts from a range of different professions. This panel assessed all entries and shortlisted 22 as finalists to win awards.
An extensive judging process has taken place in the last three weeks; the winners of the Better Living Challenge, to be announced on 25 November, have been selected through a combination of scores from a Judging Panel (60%), a Community Voting Panel (30%) and public votes (10%).
The winners will be announced at a closed event hosted by MEC for Economic Opportunities, Alan Winde.
